The Big Apple

So I went to the most photographed place in the world last weekend, New York, at least that was how I felt at the time. I wanted to take some photos that most people dont normally straight away associate with 'The Big Apple' but as my trip went on I began to realise that was easier said than done. My photography also had to contend with the other purpose of the trip, adding banging new garments to my wardrobe. For those of you that haven't been, you gotta go. As simple as that... Even if its solely to justify eating waffles and whipped cream at 9 a.m. Even with the swathes of snow making it frustratingly difficult to get about, the city is still enchanting. Seemingly every aspect of New York City holds a degree of endearment, from the prada handbags and gucci sunglasses of fifth avenue to the boarded up crack dens out of town. Every inch of the city has character. Anyway I took a few snaps from here and there, you might like them, you might not, either way all feedback is welcome.
